About the Role
​
Solution Design for new businesses
1. Propose solutions based on customer requirements and deliver values to the customers along with the business cycle
2. Carrier out whiteboard session or solution design workshop with potential customers with the business development team
3. Standardise and modularise solution design framework
4. Manage cost and benefit of the solution design process for order management, Freight Management, and Supply Chain Analytics
5. Integrate system and processes for a sustainable solution and enable future development with the customers
6. Work closely with origins and operations to make sure local requirements and practices are considered as a part of the solutions
7. Ensure solutions can enable ongoing measurement of performance of internally and externally
Enhanced Solutions for existing customers and business expansion
8. Work closely with Key Account Management or ISC Operations Key Account Manager to convert customer challenges into opportunities through active engagement and solutions
9. Analysis data in the system to identify an aggregate pattern in the market/verticals to design specific solutions to cater to verticals needs
Support Customer Improvement Initiative and Review
10. Support Control Tower and ISC Operational Key Account Manager on customers improvement program
11. Work with Operational Key Account Manager to standardize and enhance QBR process, automate QBR pack generation and enable focus on improvement discussion/execution
​Requirements
â–ª Fluent English
â–ª Proficiency in MS Visio (Swim-lane, mapping), MS PowerPoint
â–ª Lean or Six Sigma certified would be a plus
â–ª Strong skill in facilitating discussion with a big group of people
â–ª Analytical skills and structured approach, detail-oriented mentality and data-driven
â–ª Proactive, result-oriented and customer-focused
â–ª Team spirit and excellent communication & networking skills
â–ª Occasional travel both short and long-haul trips with APAC is needed
Experience and Qualifications
â–ª Tertiary Education with minimum 8 years job experience in ocean freight incl. operational procedures in ocean freight
â–ª Management experience in implementation, supply chain solution design, and business development support
â–ª Relevant skills and experience in IT / solutions (order management and freight management experiences are critical)
â–ª Solid Experience in origin operations and buyer consolidation
