IT Solution Architect / Senior Architect

About the Role

You need to have the ability to engage and communicate with the customer to understand their requirements and translating them into a solution design that conforms with system architecture for delivery by the implementation team, and managing the different stakeholders’ issues and providing clear and concise communication to them! You would require to equipped with skills and the ability to design and create a framework with configuration components for control and ease of implementation; and proposing a continuous improvement to solutions, systems, and processes.

Creation and governance of WMS architecture framework with configurable components for customer program
Creating architecture-compliant solution strategies (e.g. feasibility study) for complex demands that conform both to customer requirements and solution development standards
Analyzing and designing technical, application, and technology architectures in alignment with the IT architecture principles (i.e. IT landscape) for delivery on one or more projects
Ensure the consistency and quality of the entire WMS system from the perspective of solution architecture
Considering the requirements in terms of performance, monitorability, auditability, security environment, etc.
Review of cost and design optimized solution designs based on a rigorous understanding of costs and returns
Ensure that expected application quality attribute levels are achieved
Communicating solution and architecture to all levels of management
Leadership and guidance to implementation and development team on solution design and architecture
Continuous improvement to existing solution and architecture framework

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Holds a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT or related degree. Candidate with good industrial experience in a similar role will be considered
Working experience in Supply Chain or in a 3rd party logistics company
Working experience using any Warehouse Management System, experience in Infor WMS will be an advantage.
Proven delivery of architecture and solution on logistic and supply chain for customers
Working experience in managing stakeholders at various level
Working experience on any project management methodologies
Working experience in architecture and solution design tool
