About the Company

Our client is one of the largest events and attractions ticketing platform in the region covering more than 1000 events annually and sold over 6 million tickets to-date; creating a one-stop marketplace dedicated to the arts, culture and entertainment sectors.

About the Role

Our Client is looking for a full-time experienced compliance professional to assist in enhancing the compliance framework of the Company. This role will report to the Head, Finance & Compliance.

Day-to-day responsibilities

 

  • Review the company’s business activities and conduct regular compliance reviews.

  • Review and advice on the company’s various types of contracts.

  • Responsible for supporting the company’s Personal Data Protection Management Programme in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, including the maintenance of the company’s Data Protection Policies and Procedures. 

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with MAS Payment Services Act Regulations.   

  • Lead employee training sessions on relevant legal and compliance matters.

  • Other compliance work that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, or a relevant field.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Must have experience in Contracts, PDPA, and Regulatory Compliances. Prior experience in the compliance function of financial institutions and interest in the Payment Services Act will be an advantage.

  • Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • An analytical mindset with excellent organization skills
